Problem (one or two sentences)
Hello,
I am using Unity (the game engine) and VS Code with Zoo Code.
In Zoo Code, I did some changes to the project in one prompt (let's say Prompt A), then I did some more changes in another prompt (let's say Prompt B). The checkpoint feature was also enabled, I then decided to undo the changes the Prompt A did to the project because there was a button after the new update for Zoo Code, to restore changes back to the version before the prompt. So I clicked on it, and bam, almost all files got removed.
I did not use any external or other tools, I am sure Zoo Code deleted all the files as it exactly happened after I clicked the button.
So, as a precaution, I wanted to share the incident here. I'd say at least disable this button for any prompt that is old but ideally I'd disable this button altogether until the bug gets resolved - it is a severe bug IMO.
Regards.
Context (who is affected and when)
May happen to anyone who restores changes using the newly added button - particularly, perhaps, if those changes were preceded by another prompt.
Reproduction steps
- I did some changes in Prompt A in my Unity C# project
- I did more changes in Prompt B
- Clicked restore changes in Prompt A
-> Files got deleted
Note that I enabled check points, and it looked it was working.
Expected result
The task supposed to selectively revert changes applied by the prompt
Actual result
The task deleted files even the ones that were not affected by the prompt
Variations tried (optional)
This happened once and I never use it again so I am not sure why and how this can vary,
App Version
v3.66
API Provider (optional)
Not Applicable / Other
Model Used (optional)
N/A
Zoo Code Task Links (optional)
No response
Relevant logs or errors (optional)
