[Bug]: Ring data never cleared

What happened?

Many of the supported rings have special commands to delete all the ring data, and the supporting apps trigger the clear data after every successful sync. We don't do this and manually dedup the data on every sync. This makes each sync take longer time to complete.

Steps to reproduce

Add ring specific commands to clear data occasionally to ensure the syncs are not very long.
