I am an AI and Robotics developer currently leading Internal Strategic R&D Projects at ENIDH and working as a Computer Vision & AI Engineering Intern at Hitachi Rail.
My core focus is developing end-to-end autonomous systems, from real-time Video Anomaly Detection (VAD) pipelines using YOLO and local Vision Language Models (VLMs), to kinematic tracking and embedded hardware integration. My ultimate goal is to leverage these advanced deep learning architectures to drive breakthroughs in Computational Biomedicine and data-driven healthcare.
- π Currently working on: Real-Time Video Management Systems (VMS), autonomous USV navigation as Team Captain of Nautilus Lab (Autodrone 2026), and vision-controlled robotics.
- π± My Goal: To transition my expertise in AI and computer vision into the Computational Biomedicine sector.
- π Languages: πͺπΈ Spanish (Native) | π΅πΉ Portuguese (C1) | πΊπΈ English (B2/C1)
- Real-Time AI Anomaly Detection (Hitachi Rail): Engineered a cascade pipeline integrating YOLO, ByteTrack, MOG2+Optical Flow, and local VLMs for deterministic video anomaly detection.
- Autonomous USV Navigation (Nautilus Lab): Developing a vector-based C++ navigation system utilizing GPS and computer vision for the international Autodrone 2026 competition in Norway.
- Vision-Controlled Humanoid Arm: Co-authored a scientific paper on a fully functional robotic arm teleoperated via real-time gesture recognition (Python/C++).
